Description
The "Super Wolf Blood Moon" lunar eclipse as seen from Tucson, Arizona just before totality on a slightly hazy night in January, 2019. This was caught at a special moment where a bit of the moon was still illuminated, and the blood red color had not completely taken over the moon. The details of the plains, mountains and craters are still visible on the lunar surface in this intriguing astronomical image. The darkened black sky creates a great sense of negative space while adhering to the rule of thirds.
