Radiant sunlight pours onto Sonoran Desert land from Tonto National Forest east of Apache Junction, Arizona not far from the Phoenix Metro. Dramatic clouds fill the sky as we see a cholla and palo verde amid the lush green springtime splendor. The late day warm sunlight near sunset casts long shadows and creates a warm, inviting and eye-catching effect. This landscape was captured in the Four Peaks Wilderness near sunset.
