Description
A bolt of lightning during monsoon season occurs during a classic Arizona sunset. A sliver of Baboquivari Peak and Kitt Peak, both southwest of Tucson, can be seen in the distance. The lights of the city and Tucson International Airport can be seen coming on in this evening, twilight seen.
I love moody, dramatic photography like this. The summer monsoon season brings some of the best dynamics to the skies with their rainy downpours in the Sonoran Desert Southwest. Once can feel the electricity in the air, which is enhanced by the radiance of mist and light over the distant mountains.
