Description
An Arizona sunset during winter casts magical red last light upon the Santa Rita Mountains. They tower above the Santa Cruz River Valley south of Tucson, Arizona near Green Valley and Sahaurita. Snow-capped Mount Wrighton is seen shrouded in storm clouds as late day sunlight lights up the plants and grasses of the valley floor. Winter in the American Southwest is truly a beautiful time as seen here. The beauty of the landscape is heightened by the drama in the clouds.
