Description
The Pusch Ridge Wilderness of the Santa Catalina Mountains is seen in dramatic black and white. Captured in Catalina State Park near Oro Valley, Arizona, about half an hour north of Tucson, this Sonoran Desert wilderness affords stunning views of southwestern plant life including prickly pear and saguaro cacti. This view is looking south toward the peaks of the Pusch Ridge. The sprawling Old Pueblo lies on the other side. I went for an infrared effect in the likeness of the style of famous landscape photographer Ansel Adams.
