Artist's Description
The lights of Denver, its downtown skyline Sand Mile High Stadium are seen at night in this urban photography. Denver is the largest city and capital of Colorado. Centered on the Great Plains just east of the Colorado Rockies, the Front Range Urban Corridor is one of the most cosmopolitan and fastest growing areas in America. Due in large part to it's relative isolation and distance from other cities, Denver is a financial and government hub of the West in addition to having America's largest intentional airport by land area and one of the few cities to host all major professional sports teams.
About Chance Kafka
Tucson based photographer and artist Chance Kafka is a native of Laramie, Wyoming, and grew up in the small community of Wheatland, before returning to Laramie for college. He took an interest into photography at a young age, photographing clouds, sunsets, and landscapes. At age 17, he won 1st Place in the Platte County Fair photography competition in 3 out of 5 categories as the only entrant to win more than one category. Following this local success, he worked as a feature writer and photographer for the Platte County Record Times while still in high school.
