Title
Lighthouse by Moonlight
Artist
Chance Kafka
Medium
Painting - Acrylic On Canvas
Description
I have never visited the east coast, but something inspired tme to paint a light house atop a cliff overlooking the vast Atlantic Ocean as the moon rises. I don't know where this would be - somewhere in New England perhaps - but this dreamy night time scene was completely from my imagination.

Chance, I hope that you get the opportunity to visit the east coast, especially the New England coast, and even the Canadian east coast! Your love of natural light would certainly be a benefit to you as a photographer. If you ever decide to travel in that direction I hope that you will share your photographic experiences with us! I look forward to it!
Chance Kafka replied:
Jackie, thank you so much for the very kind words. I hope I get that oppurtunity too. My boss at my company is actually based out of PA so it's possible they could fly me out there for something. I would definitely try to get up to the New England coast if I had any free time. Either way, again, thanks so much for the nice comment.

Mystic and magical...bravo Chance
Chance Kafka replied:
Thanks a bunch, Jim. I felt the magic when I did this one. Normally, I paint just to relax, but as I was doing this, I got really into it. I didn't even know what it was going to be when I started. I knew I wanted to do a full moon over water. Then the lighthouse popped into my head and I took it from there.

Well done. I agree most likely NE as once you get to Rhode Island the coast is fairly flat the rest of the way to FL
