Description
This is an evening capture of ocotillos in bloom in the Finger Rock Trail Head area of the Catalina foothills north of Tucson, Arizona. Their red flowers contrast against the lush greenery of the Sonoran Desert, backdropped by the jagged peaks of the Santa Catalina Mountains to the north.

Yes that would be nice. But I don’t see that happening for different reasons I won’t mention (one can be proven wrong though). A person can continuously like a person’s artwork over and over. Giving time in between doing so. A favorite only counts once. You get loads of comments on your artwork. So good job for that.

Well, Chance, you are so welcome. I am happy to be of support, as you are very supportive of my work, and appreciative of the extra mile I go in posting my photography, too. You waited for the perfect moment and succeeded, with this one. You get way more attention and views of your artwork of the Sonoran Desert. So hopefully with all that exposure, it will allow others to truly see how this unique place, home of the monarch of the desert, the Saguaro Cactus, should really be seen. Keep sharing its beauty!

How nice of you to come back and reply to my reply! It is my hope that someday FAA changes the way we receive comments so we are notified of replies and can instantly follow up. It would be cool if we could like comments too. I am more than happy to to support your photography as your love of the area and dedication to showing it off deserves recognition, in addition to the amazing descriptions you write. Thank you for your thoughts as always!

Exceptionally beautiful, Chance! Certainly showcasing how the Sonoran Desert should really look like. Saguaros seen in the lush desert flora, not bare brown dirt. Ocotillo, wildflowers, and other desert flora, grace Tucson’s marvelous foothills. I love how the late afternoon light illuminates the craggy rock formations. Fantastic! LF Janet 💕
