Description
Seen from the ascent of Mount Lemmon in the towering Santa Catalina Mountains above Tucson, Arizona, abundant prickly pear cactus and blooming brittlebursh soak in the radiant moonlight on during the April 19th full moon.
The stillness of the Sonoran Desert on a moonlight night is broken only by the sound of crickets echoing on canyon walls and the high pitched click of the bats swooshing by overhead.
FAA artist Jim Love pointed out one of the prickly pear cacti in the lower left is heart shaped!
