Artist's Description
Snow capped Humphreys Peak of the San Francisco Peaks overlooks the forest and grassland just north of Flagstaff, Arizona at sunset. I set this painterly scene near Buffalo Park, which affords great views of the volcanic peaks. The last light of day strikes the mountains as the serene meadow and forest is already in shadow.
