The legendary Superstition Mountains are seen during golden hour near sunset. The prominent Flatiron peak is seen on the left. Saguaro Cacti and lush Sonoran Desert blooms fill the landscape beneath blue sky and clouds. These jagged, vertical and prominent peaks are perhaps the most famous of all Arizona for lore surrounding these peaks supposedly containing a massive goldmine which has resulted in the deaths of many people searching for it.
