Arizona Poppies metal print by Chance Kafka. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

Poppies bloom at Catalina State Peak in Arizona near Oro Valley Northwest of Tucson on a very warm spring day. Springtime brought luscious greenery to the Sonoran Desert after a cool, rainy (and even at times) snowy winter. These Mexican Gold Poppies were seen in various places throughout Southern Arizona, putting on such a vivid display that botanists were claiming the bloom of 2019 was one of the best in decades in the American Southwest. It was my hope to capture the event in different places as I bring the beauty of southern Arizona and its nature to your walls.
About Chance Kafka
Tucson based photographer and artist Chance Kafka is a native of Laramie, Wyoming, and grew up in the small community of Wheatland, before returning to Laramie for college. He took an interest into photography at a young age, photographing clouds, sunsets, and landscapes. At age 17, he won 1st Place in the Platte County Fair photography competition in 3 out of 5 categories as the only entrant to win more than one category. Following this local success, he worked as a feature writer and photographer for the Platte County Record Times while still in high school.
