Artist's Description
This is Stone Avenue in downtown Tucson, Arizona, looking north toward the city's tallest high-rises, the One South Church building and the Bank of America Blaza. The twilight glow lights up the windows reflecting the light. The St. Augstine Cathedral is on the left. Stone Ave. was once considered the central north-south thoroughfare through the city, as all streets west of it have a "W" designation in the prefix for West and an "E" east of it for East. The city has expanded significantly to east since the early-days inception of this system so now it seems fairly strange as Alvernon Way or Swan Road 4-5 miles east of here are more realistically at the center of the city. Stone Avenue travels through the heart of downtown and gives access to many historic landmarks of the urban downtown core of the Old Pueblo.

This is a great skyline Chance. That radiant glow of yellow-orange in the distant building really leads the eye toward and through this great scene. F/L/TW.
