Description
If one were to imagine what Heaven could possibly look like if it "met" earth, I would imagine something very similar to this photo. Every so often, as a photographer, I take one of those photos that I instantly know is going to have that "wow" factor. The luminous winter storm clouds over the Chihuahuan Desert of southeastern Arizona were fantastic all day. At this particular moment near sunset, the sunlight shined through the snow and rain storms in a spectacular display of rays, luminance and light over the Dragoon Mountains. A lone yucca plant looks on over the heavenly, radiant, glowing scene near Wilcox, AZ. As the late great landscape painter Bob Ross once said, "You can't have light without dark." The moody, rich, deep storm clouds contrasted perfectly with the ethereal, bright sunlight filtering through.
The American Southwest, with its dynamic weather, sweeping landscapes and stunning vistas, is a prize to photograph. Living in Tucson, I get to view sights such as this fairly often and am always adding to my portfolio of photos (and paintings) for sale as a print. I am sure among my many collections that you are sure to find the perfect print for home or office.

Oh my, Chance! What an exceptional piece this is. Breathtaking, and the "cloud whisperer" knows. I love the crepuscular rays, certainly our atmospheric physical heavens are meeting our earth's landscape. Bravo! LF FB
